I'm Yutaan Lin — a Chinese/Taiwanese illustrator, photographer, graphic, and service designer from South Africa. I currently live and work in Vancouver, Canada, on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
I strive to create images that feel like fantastical moments captured in the motion picture of everyday life. This is done through my love of the tangible (sometimes experimental), physical processes and artifacts of capturing analogue photography; I continue to learn and improve my personal approach to this beautiful medium every day.
